CVPR poster templates in the right size

CVPR has not published its 2027 poster rules yet; under the 2026 rules, main-conference (and Findings) posters are 84 × 42 in (213 × 107 cm, 2:1 landscape) and workshop posters are half size at 42 × 21 in, with no bleed. CVPR poster requirements (2026 rules for CVPR 2027)

IEEE/CVF CVPR 2027 runs June 20–25, 2027, in Seattle, Washington (Workshops and Tutorials June 20–21; Main Conference June 22–25). CVPR has not published its 2027 poster rules yet; these are the 2026 rules.

  • In 2026, main-conference and Findings posters measure 84 × 42 in (213 × 107 cm; exact conversion 213.36 × 106.68 cm) in a 2:1 landscape format; main-conference presenters may also opt for the half-size format.
  • In 2026, workshop posters are restricted to half size: 42 × 21 in (106.68 × 53.34 cm), landscape (2:1).
  • In 2026, do not add bleed to print files. When using the official onsite printing service, uploaded files are final and cannot be changed, and job names must include FULL NAME + PAPER ID (plus the workshop acronym for workshop posters).
  • In 2026, the digital upload workflow applies only to main-conference papers (Findings papers do not require upload, and workshops are not included): the optional full poster image must be a PNG within 5120 × 2880 px and ≤ 10 MB, accompanied by a thumbnail and a 5-minute YouTube video (exempt where YouTube is unavailable).
  • For CVPR 2027, paper registration closes November 10, 2026 AoE, full paper submission closes November 16, 2026 AoE, and supplementary material closes November 23, 2026 AoE; 2027 poster printing and upload deadlines have not been posted yet.

CVPR poster FAQ

What size is a CVPR poster?

CVPR has not published its 2027 poster rules yet; under the 2026 Poster Printing instructions, main-conference and Findings posters are 84 × 42 in (213 × 107 cm) in a 2:1 landscape ratio, and workshop posters are half size at 42 × 21 in (also 2:1 landscape). Do not add print bleed to your file.

How do I scale the 72 × 36 in template to print at 84 × 42 in or 42 × 21 in?

Our 72 × 36 in template has the exact 2:1 aspect ratio required by CVPR. Because PowerPoint caps slide width at 56 in, the file itself is built at half size (36 × 18 in). To print at 84 × 42 in for the main conference, scale the file to 233.3% (116.7% of nominal 72 × 36 in); to print at 72 × 36 in, scale the file to 200% (100% nominal); to print a 42 × 21 in workshop poster, scale the file to 116.7% (58.3% of nominal).

What are the CVPR digital poster and video upload rules?

In 2026, digital uploads applied only to main-conference papers (Findings and workshops did not use that upload portal). Main-conference authors submitted a thumbnail, a 5-minute YouTube video (exempt in countries where YouTube is blocked), and an optional full poster PNG no larger than 5120 × 2880 px and 10 MB. You can export our 16:9 ePoster template or 2:1 template as a PNG within that 5120 × 2880 px bounding box.

What file format and naming are required for CVPR onsite printing?

Under the 2026 CVPR Poster Printing instructions, if you order through the official printing vendor, your uploaded file is final and cannot be modified after submission. Name the print job with your FULL NAME + PAPER ID for the main conference, and add the workshop acronym for workshop posters. The 2026 printing guide lists PDF format, vector graphics, and 100 dpi images without bleed as preparation preferences.

Do CVPR Findings papers use the main-conference poster size?

Under the 2026 CVPR rules, Findings posters use the same 84 × 42 in (213 × 107 cm) 2:1 landscape poster size as main-conference papers (with the option to print at half size, 42 × 21 in), and Findings authors were not required to upload a digital poster or YouTube video.

Are the CVPR templates free?

Yes. Our PowerPoint poster templates are free to download and fully editable. The AI poster generator uses credits at 5 credits per standard 2K image; new accounts get 10 sign-up credits (valid for 1 day) plus 5 daily credits (valid for that day).
