In addition to sleep duration and efficiency, the consistency of the rest-activity cycle from day to day is an important factor in recovery. The Sleep Regularity Index (SRI) quantifies the probability that an individual will be in the same state of sleep or wakefulness at the same time of day on consecutive days. This study assesses the SRI during post-stroke recovery over time, estimates population-averaged associations with relevant covariates, and characterizes individual transitions between predefined SRI states over time.
