Concentric circles represent different eccentricities (4, 8, 12, 16), and representative crowding zones are plotted on these circles. Crowding zones are larger in the radial direction than in the tangential direction, smaller in the left and right visual fields than in the lower and upper visual fields, and larger at higher eccentricities than at closer eccentricities.
